Preston Park, just 3 miles from Gleneagles Hotel, was built in 2008, and offers a unique Scottish Baronial-styled house set in 65 acres of its own grounds on a small working farm with livery for horses. The house is well equipped and furnished in a comfortable, traditional style and fully centrally heated making it a perfect stop-over at any time of the year, regardless of the weather.
Preston Park has everything you could want in a B&B; the interior of the house is beautifully designed - modern but with a country-feel. Susie and Stuart Robertson are wonderful hosts who go out of their way to accommodate guests and make them feel at home.
This area of Perthshire is renowned for its golf courses (particularly Gleneagles, Auchterarder, Muthill and Crieff), glorious walks, whisky tasting, The Famous Grouse Distillery at Crieff, shooting and much, much more. Its location between Perth and Stirling is on the doorstep of the Highlands, yet only an hour from Glasgow, Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Dundee and Pitlochry, making it an ideal base for exploring.
Why not take the chance to escape for a break in these splendid surroundings? The house is wonderfully bright and spacious with incredible views from every window and it has a welcoming and homely feel which bed and breakfast and other visitors really appreciate.
"Great time, super people and food.
Will tell all the people in Orkney about this gem." TP
